Ever wonder why Kurt Scharfenberger has zero Google reviews? I did when I first hired him. Due to time constraints and other sensitive circumstances I reluctantly sought his counsel without any knowledge of his credentials to get my lawsuit going in early 2014. After the details of the story on the main page unfolded I made it my personal mission to get my story out to people who are in the same situation as I.
I was unlawfully terminated by my employer and sought justice. Having never been involved in these type of proceedings I was a little unsure of who to contact. I turned to Google and simply queried: “unlawful termination attorney Louisville KY” and found Kurt’s page. Normally, I do extensive research when selecting the right people for important situations. There was absolutely no info for Kurt available on Google. No reviews or feedback from past clients. For someone who supposedly deals with such a high volume of cases and has been around for as long as his website claims, I found this very odd. In a moment of what I like to call calculated ignorance I made the decision to forego this and contact him about my case. Huge mistake.
After nine months of wasted time which left my case stranded in limbo, I took to Google to warn everyone else about this scam artist only to find my review would not appear after I tried to publish it several times. I attempted to publish it from a variety of web browsers from three different computers (a Windows desktop, an Apple tablet, and an Android smartphone). None would work. I even created a brand new Google account and tried it that way. No dice. Google would not publish my review. I even tried several methods to get in touch with Google and find out what the problem was and see if they could force it through. Nope. Nothing worked. Google, the faceless entity that it is, gave me the run-around and regardless of who I talked to, no one seemed to know what the problem was.

I took matters into my own hands to get the truth out. If you’ve been through a similar unlawful termination situation or anything else Kurt’s site claims he deals with, you don’t deserve the horribly unprofessional treatment I received by him and his equally shoddy colleagues. This page exists simply to warn you what you’re on the verge of getting into if you’re considering doing business with him. Do yourself a monumental favor and keep looking. I chose not to publicly post it here in caution that doing so would make this page come off as mindless propaganda, a personal vendetta, or a cheap advertisement. It isn’t anything of the sort. It is simply the result of Google failing to allow people to submit feedback about a crooked attorney you should avoid at all costs.
